Pet day

Today is our school pet Day. We made vaseline saucers using flower petals. Here is my saucer.

Greats and Grand's day 2019

Last Friday we had our Greats and Grands day. My Grandma and Granny came along. We did performances and dancing. We had a delicious morning tea and played games.
Here is my poem I wrote for my grandparent.

Handwriting

At the end of this term we did our handwriting sample.We had to use our capital and lower case letters.What I like about my handwriting I like that my letters are right.What I can do better be quicker.

Garden to table

Today at Garden to Table we...

*Cooked quiche and fritters.

*Made kebabs and coleslaw.

After we had a picnic and ate all the yummy food.

Science Fair

Yesterday we had our school science fair. My science investigation was about paper planes and how the different affect of paper fly.

Scientific Writing

We did a science experiment and here it is.

B E G I N N I N G	TITLE	Balloon Hovercraft
	QUESTION	How does a hovercraft hover?
	HYPOTHESIS	I predict that it's going to hover across the table.

M I D D L E	EQUIPMENT  AND MATERIALS:	I need some air, a balloon, a bottle cap and a cd.
	PROCEDURE:	Step 1:Using a hot glue gun,glue the bottle cap over the CD hole. Step 2:twist the end so no air comes out.blow up a balloon end over the bottle lid.  Step 3: Stretch the balloon end over the bottle lid. Step 4: open up the cap and place the CD on a table. Step 5: untwist balloon and let go.
	OBSERVATIONS/RESULTS:	The Hovercraft hovered over to the other side of the table. It was slightly off the table. It left a damp trail.

CONCLUSION:

The air from the balloon creates a cushion of moving air between the disc and the CD and reduces the friction across the surface.

Maths Book

For maths this week we read a book called One is a snail,ten is a crab. We then worked in groups to create our own version. My book is called One is a slug ten is a caterpillar. Here is my book. I hope you like it.
